I too, find a blindfold to bee a good sleep aid. Have you considered earplugs for a better sensory blackout still; queen V?
I find they help, although they are a sod to take out. I keep a haemostat on the bookshelf that runs between my bedside and the wall to get the earplugs out. Can't do it with my fingers.
Taken my meds plus some of my leftovers from previous scripts for the muscle relaxer baclofen and for pregabalin/lyrica, thanks to driving giving me a whole bunch of cramps in my legs and a right royal bugger of a sore back
they have helped, but I do fancy a couple of large cups of vodka.
