It's never too late to learn.  My husband started studying Japanese a few years ago when a Japanese company bought the company he works for.  He bought some learning software and CDs first, then when he had learned what he could from them, he hired a Japanese tutor.  She helped him understand some of the Japanese etiquette as well, so she was very helpful.

Yeah, my father grew up speaking German as well as English because his parents were Austrian immigrants, but he is an only child with little
extended family, and he forgot most of his German before we were born. It's good that there are ways to learn at any age though.

I don't think they have been in the same place at the same time yet, but I guess it's possible they could run into one another.

I took my meds and some new ones as well.


I am now taking five medications to try and control my massive heart.

I might be one of those people who live hard and die young  (OK, fifty something is NOT young, but I still feel like an indestructible kid, except for my knee and my hip  :lol: ).  I have lived hard and my doc is upping my "old fart" meds after every visit.

My doc is determined to kill me with love.
