That could be from the type of work you do. It's hard on the hand joints, elbows, knees and feet.
Yes, there is a lot of repetitive motion, and a lot of lifting too.

They aged a lot more in the past two years than in the fifteen years before I think. Flexibility isn't what it used to be anymore. And, my right thumb does have some beginning arthritic damage. They are not allowed to hire people for more than 20 hours a week for solely delivering of mail, because of what the repetition does, they told me.
Proper postmen/women, do get other things to do too, so, that can be a full time job. This is very single tasked, and that makes that it can't be a full time job.
