It's weird - on my packet of lithium it says "Tablets should be swallowed whole and not chewed. Do not break the tablets."

But all the tablets have a score line down the middle. When popping them out of their foil, it's really easy to break them, though I haven't done it for a long time now. I try to pop them out on one end.

When I went to the doctor yesterday, we talked about my weight problem. No matter what I eat or don't, I can't seem to lose weight. My blood pressure was 110/70 - pretty good for someone who's fat and on stimulants, I said. The doc said I could try metformin but I'd need a blood test first to see if I needed it. So I'm having that tomorrow. We'll see.

I am clinically overweight though. In the last four years after I stopped Seroquel, however, my weight has barely fluctuated. So I'm not gaining or losing. I have a whole pile of clothes that I'd like to wear but I'm too big for. I'd like to lose at least ten kilos.

I'm the  opposite, build wise, if anything too much of a lanky cunt. Whats there, is all meat, bone and connective cables. Not much on me you could keep a fire going  with or make a candle out of.

9 stone 9, to 9/10 and it doesn't really change, hasn't for ages. I eat what I like and get away with it.

But even if medically there are a few  pounds you want rid of, I can't see any 'too plump', all I can see is some cute curves, hell I'd  have 'em curved round me any day. You are snugglesome, my dear Ren

  I just took the atomoxetine, with food.  Previously I took the omeprazole.

Yes, cimetidine, oxy, morphine, chlormethiazole, antibiotic, haven't swapped to a new plaster covering the wound left by the relatively mild infection in my shoulder, or changed the...well, put in a new, iodine crystal. Will do that  later. Had been,  still am taking oral cephalexin, but it's improved remarkably quick, after  just a few days of sticking a small (couple of  mm) crystal of solid  elemental I2 in the wound and  shoving it down in there.  The antibiotic was one thing, but slow as fuck. The bacteria really, really, don't seem to much like having to suck on a chunk of iodine.

Kind  of the  difference, between getting rid of someone you don't like by poisoning them slowly with lead, or mercury salts, vs nailing them to a tree, dousing them in  petrol and burning them alive.  Nasty, brutal and short, but undoubtedly efficient. In the case of the infectious bacteria, that is what they are getting, Poisoned, then nailed to a tree, doused in gas, lit up like a christmas tree and left to roast like an arab on a bonfire

  Still need to take the supplements!  I should do that now.

Yep! Yesterday I couldn't take lithium in the morning because I had a blood test for its level. I had to make note of what time I took it the night before and tell the phlebotomist just before I had blood taken.

I forgot my afternoon dex which I shouldn't have done because I was out driving. I knew it and so took extra care. I've been in two car crashes and both of them were my fault. This was before I had the diagnosis of ADHD. "Driving without due care and attention" were the charges. I got fined but those would off the record by now. I don't even think I got demerit points.

The important ones, plus some methadone, courtesy of a friend of mine/contact for this, that and 'tother. Because I've not been able to lie down without one hip, the other hip, or both of them screaming at me.

And my plantar fasciitis (probable dx, certainly makes sense) has been flaring up something rotten. Lying on the sofa with my feet up, or on my side, hurts like a bugger.

That reminds me, I ought to finish up on some amphetamine myself. Not sure if I'll decide to go for chiral resolution yet (the process in question produces  racemic amphetamine, but enantiopure tartaric acid can be used  to selectively crystallize the product, forming salts with the corresponding same isomer of the product)

Been giving the nitroalkene a good thorough clean. Started out as yellow fluffy powder and clumps, opaque and 20 'C below the melting point. Now lovely bright cadmium-yellow-with a touch of lemon peel coloured clear needle-like crystals. Currently under inert atmosphere in a sealed flask, until I've the time to attend them.
