Most important ones.
Including anti-seizure ones, and this plus my, as a result of a long, although very enjoyable, rather lively night's electrolysis being tired and sleeping not a moment until perhaps 9-10am, took a benzo (nitrazepam in this case, 5mg, went to pet the ol' moggies so to speak) the two strong sedative-hypnotics (the other being the antiseizure med I take)
Plus after last night, I was still on an endorphin high and near tapdancing rather than walking with glee, after waking up, to the sight of the shiny nuggets of sodium metal (actually a sodium-calcium alloy since CaCl2 was used in a eutectic mixture to lower the melting point of the sodium hydroxide I was using for my melt. Well mostly, also a little NaCl in there, and from an attempt to get it to melt in my metal bath, borax, used in an attempt to serve as flux. Failed and resulted in the melt rapidly turning brown, presumably owing to deposition of amorphous boron.
And again, on waking up for the first time, to see them thar' nuggets gleaming back at me under their protective covering of a mixture of mixed petroleum fractions (a mix of light-medium naphtha and heavy, high-boiling degreasing solvent composed of aliphatic hydrocarbons, shitty as a solvent but good for preserving alkali metals, nicely packaged in an old, possibly antique jar, covered in petroleum spirit to prevent the metal alloy oxidizing or catching fire and with a little topping off of argon to fill the headspace just to be thorough.)
All that glitters is not gold...in this case its silvery but would make for really shitty coinage, but for a happy Lestat, especially given that the metals were not bought, but made, wrested from their stable compounds within which they were determined to stay and sleep. Only to be woken up by a generous application of electric current and heat. Very nice, lively reaction too, I think I shall have to do a video of it, without any inert gas protection, to show it, although it'll have to go in elder's. The heavens opened, and it was raining sodium-calcium alloy and molten caustic:) God am I ever glad I bought that face shield. Because without it, that would have taken my face off easily. Got a crater in my arm thats the result of a blob of molten NaCa/coated in molten mixed NaOH/CaCl2/NaCl. Plus a few little wee tiny micrometeorite craters from NaCa/electrolysis bath melt where it hit my fingers.
Kinda funny when molten Na blobs decide to go 'CRACK! !wheeeeeeeee!' only to land in the sink and land in water. Na is soft, but in such a way, it found its own way to richochet. Just what the doctor ordered. He never said anything about a low sodium diet either. He should have. A little splatter of NaOH melt managed to whing its way onto a jelly-baby. That was an unwanted surprise. Only a tiny bit, no harm done. It tastes bitter, if you ever wondered what, and had the urge to find out what caustic soda tastes like. Now you don't have to. Still ate the jelly-baby though.
