Does it help?

Yes, it does.

My thoughts are not all tumbling over one another all the time, I procrastinate less, and, I don't "get lost" between 5 and 6 pm, but am fit till after 9 pm. I'm getting tired around 11 pm, and, that is not a bad time to go to bed. Before, I would be past my urge to sleep at that time.

I'm less snappy at the kids after 8 pm too. So, for now, I like it.

It is not giving me the "zombie" feel.

And I really like the idea that I can choose to have a regular day without meds, if I want to. Tumbling abundance of thoughts and images isn't always bad.

Do you think I should elaborate?

Not unless you can top 13 paragraphs that ends with you describing how you shove your pills up your ass.  :autism:

If you ever get that urge, please, do it without pics.  :M

It's a bit like that for me, too. My problem is that I sleep even less with them than without.

I sleep OK, as long as no one interrupts my sleep after 4 am.
Without Ritalin, I fall asleep without any problem, after the cat wakes me at 5, now I don't. But, since I do fall asleep more early, that is not a massive problem. I would like the cat to drop his insecure habit to wake me at night, when he wants to eat. There is food in his bowl, and he is allowed to eat without my approval.  :P

And, now I am going to bed way too late. Not because of the meds though. But, because I needed the time without hearing my kids or other humans. Lets hope that Sirius will let me sleep tonight.

Work? Do you 'make' electricity, by making a hamster wheel go round and round?  :green:

:lol1:    If I could do that, I'd be self-employed (and rich)!

Took my antiinflammatories, had a pleasant few hours after taking my oxy and clonidine. Clonidine really potentiates the sedating/euphoric properties of opioids, and seems to help with the analgesic properties somewhat too.

Not what I take it for, but as they say, never look a gift horse in the mouth.
I take it to stop overloads from happening, for which it does a fantastic job.
Also helps with sleep, and increases my appetite; which is good, as I normally have very little desire for food. Without being on an alpha2 adrenoreceptor agonist I usually have to force myself to eat, unless I have gone so long without eating I HAVE to eat, or start feeling faint and dizzy.
Beyond the pale. Way, way beyond the pale.

I've found that Ritalin does wonders for keeping my OCD under control.
