Scientology trash train
« on: March 20, 2010, 10:45:49 PM »

These railroad freight cars are used to haul trash out of the NYC urban area.  Although it makes sense to advertise on the side of railroad freight cars since they move all over the continent and can be seen by anyone sitting at a railroad crossing, you gotta love the irony of a religion (especially this one in particular), putting their advertisements on cars used for the removal of trash.

I know that in some areas, if the primary sewage treatment plants for a major metropolitan area are too low of capacity, they use tank cars to haul the extra raw sewage to other plants to take the load of the ones closer to the city.  I wonder if the Catholic church has considered railroad advertising?

Why are religions always targeting sex, alcohol or food??

Eat, Drink and Fuck and don't feel guilty about it.

You will have no need for religion in you life if you do these 3 simple things.

They want to swoop in and rescue you at your lowest point in your life and love bomb you. Typically they target the most common things that usually leave you feeling like shit, like addictions and a shitty love life.

Then they get you to trade one addiction of another, addiction to god

They also target things they know you won't stop doing like eating and fucking. This is how they create something called the "guilt cycle". They declare "sinful" something that they know you will do. When you do it, you feel (artificial) guilt. The only way to rid yourself of that guilt, is through the religion. It's the cure that contains the disease.

Back to the original post, another thing suddenly comes to mind, if you live in the NYC area, start littering.  The less trash that actually ends up being properly disposed of, the less people will see these ads.

That could very well backfire. Scientologists may go on a campaign to "clean up the city".  ::)

Being a living person means unavoidable suffering and pain. Being alive also means encountering people who will help you (so they proclaim) avoid or eliminate these problems altogether! There's a catch, though. This usually involves transferring the contents of your wallet into theirs — preferably with your enthusiastic agreement. Like for instance, buying insurance policies, or feeding your unquenchable desire for more and flashier consumer goods. More subtle methods include convincing you that whatever it is you are doing with your life, YOU'RE DOING IT WRONG!!! and you must do what they say instead of what you want, and this will bring an end to your suffering. Maybe not straightaway, but in the hereafter for certain. And meanwhile, if you wouldn't mind getting out your wallet and placing its contents into this collection dish... there's a good fellow.

And by "you," of course I mean "me."  :green:
