A few words of advice: If you find continual, relentless whinging tedious, this place will shit you to tears! Everyone here bellyaches constantly about their jobs, the state of their health, their families, the world and each other. So you're going to have to embrace your inner misery-guts, cease being a single-issue complainer, and learn to nitpick, deprecate, snipe and moan about a wide variety of subjects. My straight forward-no bullshit tendencies cost me my first girlfriend, a current friend, and many warnings on WP.  People don't want to hear the truth.

With my ex, I just expressed a lot of observations...like I'd see a guy that looks like TimTex with a pretty woman and say "He has money" and she would say "How do you know he's just not a great guy and she loves him"...with my friend, I've told him that him being a partier and having a 9 to 5 job, a house in the town he grow up in, and living with an ugly girlfriend, makes him a typical person.  I also suggested that even though his girlfriend lets him masturbate to porn, that he's just living out the fantasy that he's afraid to go after.  People don't want to hear the truth.

Saying exactly what I damned-well think has cost me in social terms as well. Looking back, I now realise how many times in my life I wielded my Aspie bluntness as a weapon where subtle diplomacy might have yielded better results. If I had the power to go back and change that, I probably wouldn't. No, people don't want to hear the truth according to YOU. What you think the truth is, could be utter bullshit to others.

Well the first one is subjective...while there's a possibility the guy has money, there's also a possibility that she just loves him for him.  The second...my friend is a porn addict, looks at hot women as "untouchable" and only dating certain girls.  He's not even bad looking and is really outgoing, but he just goes for the women that throw themselves at him, then gawks at the other women.
