I deleted my facebook account, evidently my name is very common . despite my pic being posted I was being mistaken for someone else.........bleech, who needs friends that you dont even know.

I have 61 'friends'; most are related to me (being in Australia, the time difference alone makes it difficult to keep in contact with family any other way, especially as they are scattered across the rest of the world). Most of the rest are real-life friends who are also in other countries and there are a few 'internet-friends' (like 'pen-friends') that I have only 'met' on-line but like anyway.

I used to. These days I use VOIP. No lag, but occasionally irritating 'echoes'.
