I am starting to see a steady increase in pain and soreness, I initially went to the hospital and they did a CT scan and found a little fluid near my pelvis, they weren't sure if it was serious but they said if the pain gets worse to come back to the er. So far the pain is not substantial enough to warrant a trip to the ER.

Good you got yourself checked. Both not to miss out on hidden things, and also for insurance. If you come with sever pain or hindrance complaints later, insurances will say you can't prove it's related to the accident.

Geez jman, am glad you are ok, that looks like a lot of damage to the car. Just have to keep tabs on whether or not you should go to the ER, don't delay if you need to go.

Friend of mine got rear-ended like that a few years back, pain didn't start really kicking in until a few days afterwards, she still has problems from the accident.  Take it easy for awhile, and if the pain doesn't get better or subside get it checked again.

Her car was a hair away from being declared a total, from all appearances it should have been, but was fixed instead. She got rid of it a short time after, it never drove the same.

my best advice FWIW: take the insurance $, buy a beater, and use the rest 2 buy somegood (legal) pharmaceuticals. Just watched SOTU & IMU it's time to stock up on painkillers.

that's just my opinion--i could be wrong. and hope i am.

I hope you're going to be OK, Jman.  I was rear ended one time with not quite as much damage as your car and they fixed my car, but I think they might total yours.
