Guess I have a happy make up when it comes to alcohol, cannabis or cigarettes. I have no need for it at all when I don't feel well. Because they make me feel worse then. Worst of all are cigarettes.
Alcohol does work as an enhancer of feelings for me. So drinking a bit when happy and tired, can bring me a very good night sleep. Drinking a glass to much does keep me awake the whole night though.
Last year, I drink an occasional glass or two in a weekend, when feeling well and when wanting it. For the rest I am clean. And I don't miss it at all.
Not talking chocolate here, that does deserve a whole addiction thread on its own.
