Haven't had Landlord bottled before (being lucky enough to live in Taylor's territory) or on cask either for a few years - I now remember why I rated it so highly. Fucking great session bitter - if you ever come across this, give it a go - its Madonna's favourite beer apparently. She might be a ropey old leotard abuser but apparently there's fuck all up with her taste buds. Hoppy as fuck but perfectly balanced.

One of the things that seem to suck about the US is your beer and whisky culture -- or rather lack thereof. The only thing that's worse than American whisky is Canadian. It tastes like coloured water with some alcohol in it.

The only way I could choke it down was mixing it with tabasco.
Still, pretty foul.

Nope. I don't tend to seek out golden ales either though, I certainly wouldn't look for imports - I tend to prefer premium bitters, IPA and strong english ales. Occasionally I come across a good one though, and Summer Lightning is a particularly zingy brew.

I'm having coffee, which is unusual. I usually don't drink coffee during the day, but I'm extremely agitated, and it well help me to calm myself.

Which Staropramen is your favorite. I have only had it once, but I'm not confident that the store had freshly rotating stock. I suspect it was overshelved, so I was not impressed as you can imagine. Since I have begun to drink beer, again, I am interested in exploring rich flavors. I am going out later and I have my mind on a big new import store, that opened recently. I'm hoping they have some beer that I haven't tried, yet, too.
