Californian wine is good value for the quality, but its being caught up by Chile and South Africa IMO.

drinking: Budweiser Budvar - the Czech original, not to be confused with that other gnats piss. Good stuff this - smooth, clean and slightly sweet, with a sharp hop aftertaste.

The Finger Lakes Region of New York State also produces pretty good stuff.  Plus it's a lot closer to get the wine!

I've just returned from there, this October past.   Its only good if you like a new glass of wine with every piece of food you eat!  Talk about headaches, oh the sulfites, but the food and women are finger licking good.....

(did you mean something like that?)  Plus its not to far from the great Canadian monuments like the CN tower....

Oh yeah, if you make the rounds of the Vineyards, you can get pretty blitzed with the free samples.  My favorite is the Bully Hills Vineyard near Hammondsport.  http://www.bullyhill.com/  Interesting history!

For the record, I didn't make the rounds of the vineyards, but, I know people who did!!

Drinking a mx of fruit teas. One is Lemon, ginger and mango. The other is camomile, honey and lemon. Pretty nice actually, but I like honey. It smells lovely.
