No actually I don't. Bad things happen to good people. And sometimes good people have to do bad things.

It sometimes takes a while. I'm ten years older than you, and I know I still haven't been around long enough to see some things come around full circle.

It works in that way, that I will likely make the mistakes again that I did not learn from.
That's not just true for me, but for most people I guess.

And the mistakes I did learn from, I won't do again.

There is enough random badness and goodness to defy the concept of Karma. Earthquakes and such. But in other aspects, yes, I think there is something that you could describe with the terminology of Karma.

What about people who make the same mistakes, over and over again, whilst fully knowing they're making them?  :P

Oh, I've made mistakes for over 40 years. And did deal with quite a few the last few years.
And there are probably mistakes enough left for me to deal with.

I'm not afraid of that any more. Life will never be perfect, nor will I.

I am a lot happier than when I was 20 though. Even if the facts seem to indicate something else.

And even with a perfect life. Shit will happen. Karma is a concept. It does not explain all.

Some people stay in a cycle because it is comfortable and familiar, and staying in that cycle is much easier than change. Something comfortable and familiar can be the more attractive option than change and uncertainty, even if the comfort and familiarity are toxic.

I prefer to be karma, as in taking it upon myself to see that people don't profit from being assholes, stuff like that.  I like to think that I may not be able to solve the world's problems, but I can keep my little corner of it a bit nicer.

Same. If it were karma, then I have a lot of good karma coming my way. But it isn't happening so I feel I have more of an internal locus of control.

Geez. I have learnt something in psychology.

I don't believe in Karma. At all.
I2 today is not i2 of yesteryear. It is a knitting circle. Those that participate be they nice or asshats know their place and the price to be there. Odeon is the overlord

.Benevolent if you toe the line.

Think it is I2 of old? Even Odeon is not so delusional as to think otherwise. He may on occasionally pretend otherwise but his base is that knitting circle.

Censoring/banning/restricting/moderating myself, Calanadale & Scrapheap were all not his finest moments.

and before someone goes "no karma DOES exist, cus bush is sad now! he isnt president any more, besides hes newspapers arrived late! HA!!!"
no.

for karma to exist, i want a picture of g.w.bush smeared in shit.
i want a photo of pinochet executed in a football stadium, or ayatollah khomeini hung by the throat from a tower crane.

if karma settles by giving evildoers a little annoyance in life "awww prison break isnt on :( " then karma is a fucking bitch, and totally useless to everyone.
