yea it was - they caught guy fawkes leaving gunpowder under parliament to blow up the king
guy fawkes and the other conspirators were catholic - james the first was protestant

apparently they used to burn effigies of the pope on the bonfire at one point lol

Guy Fawkes - the only man ever to enter the houses of parliament with honest intentions!  :lol:
