Doesn't seem like a good houspet. My cousin had a squirrel monkey that had to be kept in diapers. I guess in the wild they just shit from a branch to the ground and never had to bother digging a hole. Monkeys and primates are not good pets.

Back to the birds. Birds are evil. I had a rooster named Ringo that used to attack me. He would chase me around the yard and attack me with his talons.
I had to walk around with a rubber maid garbage lid and an umbrella to defend myself. He was half my size. HE WAS HUGE.
He was beautiful. He looked like a rooster from a kids story book but he was very violent. It was such a problem that we had to get rid of him it was hard
becuase he was so good looking.

But yeah the poor goose. Geese are meant to fly. I don't like the idea of caged birds.

My wife says the same thing all the time. She says they will peck you to death if you stand still long enough.   I was attacked by a rooster when I was three sending me for stitches at the hospital

I'm the exact opposite. Total bleeding heart. I came close to getting a few acres for a small hobby farm but I would never be able to have anything on my farm that I was expected to kill and eat. I would end up giving them names and becoming way too emotionally attached.

Funny thing is that because I never put pins in the eyes of loved pets of ex-housemates or friends they would trust to leave me these bloody things for extended periods of time. I was good with them because I was not mean and treated them sensibly not stirring them up or letting them get away with shit but they thought there was a real bond.

They are OK to pat sometimes when they aren't moving is best. aside from that staying out from underfoot is OK too.
