My brother used to wake with Metallica.

We used to wake with him if he had to get up early.

Couldn't call it a slow waking though. The only one who would wake slow was my brother.

At the fifth year of highschool, there would always be a trip to either Paris or London. Of course, I was in that one year that went for Belgium instead.   

Personally I would like Belgium but I guess for you that would be like visiting Santa Cruz is for me.

Yeah, we still could choose what group we went with, the one to the Dutch speaking bit of Belgium or different. I chose for different, and ended up in German speaking Belgium.  I was raised so close to the German border, that lots of people went for grocery-shopping and petrol to Germany.

Well, saw London a few years later. Still have not seen Paris. But, who knows. May happen one day.

I stayed in London for a couple of days 25 years ago, was nice then, friendly town, but HUGE.
After that, I only saw train and bus stations in London. And a pub in between, to brighten up the waiting time.

I did think I was gonna be going there to go hospital next week but it turns out the actual hospital is miles away - nowhere near the city. so I wont be going London after all

which kinda sucks as that was the one good thing about it
