I don't know, but I thought that they just bought a bunch of barely matched, lowest bid stuff  (including half baked code)  and slopped it together.

Me, I'm a little annoyed, slightly.

My wife works late and often naps in the morning after a rough night. This was the morning I was going to "relieve some frustration" by crashing through the wall where I can access the tub plumbing.

I'm not really mad, because she really needs her sleep, but she has nodded off,   NOW!! 

I have already done all the quiet preassembly I can do.

Yesterday, I bought one of Microsoft's ergonomic wireless keyboards. Nice, quiet keys, slightly curved, felt like reasonable quality to me. This morning, writing, I noticed how it skipped letters if I wrote too fast. I tried moving the receiver (from right next to the keyboard) to further away, to below...) without any real improvement. So rather than replacing the unit with another, I just returned it. I just can't be arsed.

I am considering a Maltron keyboard that Cal was kind enough to link to, last night. Don't know if I dare or not--it is really different from any keyboard I've ever seen.

Logitech makes some good peripherals.   Their wireless mice are good, no reason to believe that their keyboards are crap.   Saitek makes a good gaming keyboard.

I use a Logitech keyboard now. It is OK but the keys have a spongy-squishy feeling that I loathe. I want one that has quiet keys.
