Some people are still up and walking around at 500 lbs. I have an aquaintance who is hitting that mark. She just started a weight loss program a few months ago. 80+ lbs down but when you're that size, losing 80 lbs doesn't really show. I suspect she's trying to hit a goal weight to be able to have weight loss surgery. We've been talking to her about her weight for years.
