ZEGH i like you, you seem cool
you should stick around here  8)

on a side note

at urmston pet shop there is a rescue parrot called koko, who has quite a lot of feathers missing

and some arseholes wrote in to the messenger sayong he must be being abused or maltreated, so people are trying to get him taken away by the rspca

he's treated WELL though. he's not even in a cage or anything, he sits happily on the top of it, in the front of the petshop

as if they'd have him free in front of customers in the shop if they were treating him badly  ???

he's cute btw. kept saying hello to me once when i was in there, but being the aspie spazz that i am, i coulnd't bring myself to respond  :duh:

What is their argument that he's being mistreated?  The fact that he's missing feathers?

yeah

but he's a rescue parrot and is apparently a lot better than he was when they got him

he's not even in a cage or anything, and they wouldn't have him there on display if they were abusing him

Although being out of his cage may be stressful to him because he doesn't have a safe place and birds will pull their feathers out as a sign of stress. It depends on how many feathers he came in with and whether the situation is getting better or worse.
