that's because people look for soy cows in the pasture. But it's a myth. Soy cows live in the forest. Photographic proof below:

I was driving in the countryside in New Brunswick (road trip I took in June) and I swore I saw a cow in the forest so I pulled over, grabbed my camera, and went searching. Lo and behold, SOY COWS!!!!
