Identify the Song.
« on: September 26, 2009, 03:51:15 PM »
Simple game; post a line or two from a song that you are listening to, and the next person has to try and guess what song or artist it is :zoinks:

"Riding through dustclouds and barren wastes, galloping hard on the plains / Murder for freedom, the stab in the back, women and children and cowards attack"

Clue (highlight to show); Genre = Metal

"No one believes more firmly than Comrade Napoleon that all animals are equal. He would be only too happy to let you make your decisions for yourselves. But sometimes you might make the wrong decisions, comrades, and then where should we be?"

"When men lead by words that are false as they preach
Fatality waits in the wings
Surrounded by fools behind walls that are breached
Beware of the jester that sings"

I dunno, the lyrics and album sounds familiar.

Beatles-Abbey Road, track 9, I think.  Can't remember the track name, cause I only have a copy of that album.

Yeah, I'll give it to you. It's 'You Never Give Me Your Money'.

Thats the one.  Doesn't one of the shorter songs, later in the album, have the same verse's?

"In the shadowplay, acting out your own death, knowing no more,
As the assassins all grouped in four lines, dancing on the floor,
And with cold steel, odour on their bodies made a move to connect,
But I could only stare in disbelief as the crowds all left."
