I can get hold of 12" hemispheres here, but I have to practice on building smaller ones first.

Yup, over 6", they become very heavy. A 6" is maybe 150 grams (5 oz).

Let's just say that's a fucking lot of firepower for some fireworks. Sure worth the effort when they go off....  :indeed:

I never get why Lit doesn't make a career out of it. Surely he would enjoy it...

Well, to start with I probably wouldn't get a license. It's very hard to get a license for manufacturing fireworks in Sweden.

Secondly, I'm not that skilled in pyrotechnic as an art yet. I'm pretty good at building exploding devices, but I'm still an amateur in making beautiful effects.

Should approach a firm and see if they will train you up. Have you tried that yet?

i dont know about europe, but here in the us it is extremely hard to get into pyrotechnics. you have to know someone in the business thats willing to train you, and be able to pass extensive backround checks.

It's about the same here. You can get education by a guy in southern Sweden, but it's not sure at all that you'll get a license. The authorities want as few people as possible involved in making fireworks.

Well aparently private ownership here of any fireworks or similar devices is now completely banned. People have til the end of the month to get rid of them.

Fuck, why do people have to be such fuckwits? I blame those 'tards who were too stupid to use 'em properly in the first place.

Yet your chemical supply companies are much easier going than they are here :-\
