Is the whole ex thing not meant to not be influenced by them once they become the ex. (OK, I realise that that is ideally, but still, makes no real sense to arrange your life around an ex)

Let's put it this way: you've got a choice of a) missing out on an experience you've looked forward to, and staying home because you're worried about how others will perceive you, and b) going and enjoying an event you've been anticipating, regardless of what anybody bloody-well thinks of you or how you look. Which scenario has more win?

Which did you do?
Screwed off by default because my cousin was busy helping her son through a rough patch. By the time I knew that I was resigned to no oil change. Icequeen is a bad influence.  :zoinks:
