For some reason, I have always longed to travel back in time to medieval England.
I assume I feel a connection to it because of some of my ancestry, but why that particular period in time?
I'm not sure, it just fascinates me. One day I must  get to England, preferably to Ripon, where some of my roots are.  :viking:

There is a place in ripon called 'fountains abbey'  which dates back to the year 1100.   i think it was founded by monks.  anyway it's well worth a visit on your forthcoming trip cbc!!

Fountains Abbey and the surroundings are absolutely gorgeous.

Could we one day meet in Ripon CBC? Been a long I was there.

I would love to. Let's make some plans.   :)

Yeah, I honestly don't know how I didn't catch them trying to get out...but I know for sure I was here when they were. Because the hallway was bare when I got home, but after I'd been upstairs on the deck, I went back downstairs and wondered why there was cash on the floor where I had walked through only 10 or so minutes before.

That is awful. I have never experienced anything like that and I hope I never do. I hope they didn't get to take anything Eclair.
