big companies that feel threatened could sell weed, they'd make mega bucks.

I know. A lot of people are currently proposing plans to do that. Pot won't be illegal for much longer.

Yes it will. Even in the US. It's actually free in a few European contries, though, like the Netherlands.

i don't think marijuana is harmless, but it should be legal.
:agreed:

It'll be illegal for a long time, though- albiet perhaps illegal but decrimmed.  Ultimately, yes, because of money.  Also because people are stupid, and assume that if the law says it's an "illegal drug," it must be "BAD."  Whereas, of course, psychoactive drugs that pharmaceutical companies push on little kids despite knowing the potential hazards of doing so must be "GOOD" because they are "legal."  It makes me want to hit my head against a goddamn wall.

Wish the UK would have that sense. Would fill a massive hole in the budget.

I have a deep, seething pit of anger and hate toward major pharmaceutical companies, and I understand the law and the way humans and our systems work well enough to be pissed off by how stupid, discriminatory and destructive 'illegal' drug laws are.

Yes. I hate them too. I want to rip their tits off and shove needles into their testicles.

Normally I eschew violence, but I pretty mcuh agree, except I'd add "piping-hot needles dipped in acid."

In 5 years they will be gone hopefully - as some of the poorer nations don't want to enforce those laws any more. Too pricey.
