Pizza left from last night, ribs and about a pound of cherries.

I hardly ate anything today, too hot! I had two grapefruits for breakfast, two apples and a dish of jello for lunch, and haven't had any dinner yet. No appetite.  :thumbdn:
If I could do that for a few days I could get down to 180.

190. At 180 I am pretty fit but I have extra flab.

I have weighed around 180 a few times! Realistically, I may get down around 150, but weight loss is taking more time now that I'm *sob* OLDER!  :laugh:

Yeah, up to mid thirties putting on weight was difficult and taking it off in Karate class or hiking was easy. Not anymore, especially after about 45 for me.  :zoinks:

I usually prefer rice to potatoes but I like good mashed potatoes and I prepare mashed potatoes very well.

Yes butter and sour cream, salt and pepper. I use a serpentine type potato smasher and then a big spoon to stir the lumpy unsmashed pieces into the center of the pan so they don't hide in the corner areas of the pan. Also using Russet or Sierra Gold potatoes when the budget allows.

I also prefer lumpy mashed potatoes and grits.  Oatmeal doesn't seem to get lumpy in my experience, but I like it anyway.

Actually I stir the lumps to the center to smash them all smooth. I like oatmeal in cookies.
