The story about this king is kind of cool. He went mad and personally killed some aristocrats he held a grudge against. So his two brothers, who also wanted to be kings, put him in jail. There he was supposedly poisoned by arsenic oxide, put in his pea soup. No one knows if it's true, but it's not impossible that it is:

The Wikipedia article you linked to said that he was exhumed in 1958 and there was a high level of arsenic in his remains, so there was evidence that he was poisoned.

We made an Alfredo sauce with shrimp, (store-bought) ravioli., breadmachine-started garlic sticks and finished with baked apples.

I had a second  apple  thing for a midnight snack.

Just finished my late coffee. Heading to bed in about a minute or so.
