Well most of them would not get along here, lets face it. There are some good members there. Actually I wouldn't say "most" whine. There are a few whiners, I don't tend to read their posts anyway. The majority of the posts I read are fine. How do you define a whiner? Moaning about life? Well, it is a support site.

Its the defeatist attitudes that most of the members have - and god forbid if anyone actually gave some honest advice (i.e. moan less, get out more)

All they do is enable people to continue the pity party. For example did you see that thread where that poor girl was getting shredded for putting up notice of a study she was doing (as approved by Alex)?

I went out last night two two places, and found it really hard to relate to people and came home in a rather defeated mood.

Yeah, I think many members rise to the occasion to help.
You'll never self-actualize the subconscious canopy of stardust with that attitude.

No - but in half the cases they probably just need a good kick up the backside.
I can understand his point of view. I doubt the copyright infringement claim would hold.
He's been very paranoid in the past about people quoting his words, because he doesn't want to be caught in a lie. He freely deletes his own posts and those of others he thinks will cause him trouble.A good way to take him down, when somebody eventually does, will be to go around to all the people who've been slighted by him, gather any chat logs and written records they have, cross reference it all, and publicize it. If Alex hasn't changed from the way he used to be, that will reveal glaring inconsistences, evasions, and outright lies all over the place.
