I bet lot of you might not believe me but it's true.
I can remember two years ago when I was with my first boyfriend, we always go to his cousin's house he rented with four other people because he owed him money. Well the house was in very bad shape because it was literally falling apart. Worst of all, one of the renters there had a one year old girl and I felt sorry for her she had to live in that dump. In her little bedroom, the floor sagged because it had a big dip in it. I learned eventually Meth used to be done in that house and people who lived there before never took care of it and they had parties all the time and then new people did Meth in it and then the house was being illegally rented to them because it was all they can afford. Some places in Montana are expensive to live but I am sure they are still cheap to live. To the Montanans it be considered expensive because the minimum wage is low. Only $5.15 at the time. Now it's been raised up by a dollar. I thought about reporting the house to the police but then I thought what would happen to all those people, they can't afford to live anywhere else so I left it be. All those people were being taken advantage of and they knew it but they'd rather have a roof over their head they said. They even said they want to buy the house from the owner so they can burn it to the ground and build something new there to live in. I asked them how can they afford it if they don't even make a lot of money. Houses are expensive to build. They said they pool all their money together and i said "okay" thinking they still might not be able to afford it. They even said they camp in tents for a while on the property.
