A couple locally are the Loose Goose & Alibies.

Not too many catchy names around here, mostly stuff like Joe's Tavern, Bill's Tavern, Angelo's, etc.  ::)

Ex has one, but he just kept the name that it had, since it's had the same name for 3 owners and over 30 years. The natives don't adapt well to change around here, it fucks up their "karma".

When I first read this, I thought is was one pub, now I realize that its TWO names for TWO different pubs.  Good thing I wasn't trying to follow driving directions, me:  "can you tell me where Loose Goose and Alibis is at.  Them:  which one?  Me:   ???

When I was young, there was a horrible missunderstanding between  DNR and D&R with my mom and driving directions.....

I keep thinking this thread is "Names for Pubes" which would be fucking hilarious! I'd call a real bushy set "The Forest Moon of Endor" and a nice landing strip "LAX" or "Runway Six-Niner"!
Crazy, I'm halfway to crazy

Homicide would break me

Tongue tied and tied to the tongue
Oh, is life as bad as dreams
I guess that's just the way it seems

Pugg Mahones Irish Pub (with a picture of a pug dog).

Pohg mohone (or something like that) means "kiss my arse" in Irish (Gaelic).
This brain could do with some more dimethyltryptamine.

Yes, we would serve rather strong tea.
