Season 2, episode 10:

The ugly mug (he is really ugly) she ends up with, I thought at first maybe he was shy when they had a drink together. I thought Alesia was getting fed up with him because he barely bothered saying much about himself. I thought maybe he was either shy (though he didn’t seem it at all) or he wasn’t trying very much at all.
Then at the end of the date, he kissed her and she thought they’d clicked. He didn’t respond to her since.
My questions are A) What was she thinking? and B) What was he thinking? and C) Did he need a book throwing at his head to get that she was out of his league?
Am I being judgemental? Yes. But if he had treated her better I wouldn’t be so “WTH just happened?” at the whole thing, and God, she looked like she was about to cry when he said they were “too far away”. What kind of a wussy excuse is that? He was one of the ugliest mugs in the programme. There were a couple of cute men who looked way friendlier than him. She’d even prettied herself up with jewellry down there.
I mean, of course I wouldn’t be so outraged if he had treated her with respect.
