Food Stolen!

My freezer drawer full of food has been stolen! Reported it to the landlord but there's not much chance of it being replaced or him finding who took it. If I find out, they are  :explode: :death: :boo: :yarly:

Inevitably, as sod's law says, the bins were emptied this am, anyway. There's one wrapping that could be from one of my frozen ready meals but anybody might have brought the same one, it's not evidence. It's just there's no other way the food went, obviously!  :headbang2:

Do any of your housemates have access to other freezers so they could have taken all your frozen food somewhere else or is it likely that they ate your food at your house?

If it's the latter, then you could request that whoever ate your food replace it.

Ha, it's not 'my house', of course, hence told landlord, who's coming around but what's he going to do? You don't think whoever it was will admit it? 3 of the rooms have their own kitchens but anybody can use the main one, too. It's almost certainly been eaten by now, since I had no cause to check my drawer between putting the food there & wanting some today. Guess I'm about over it now, even if it means nothing to eat until next Thursday, when I get my next lot of money.  :yarly:

It's weird, since everybody in the house has been here some time & nothing like this has happened before! Occasionally, I'd find my margarine used or something but nothing like this. Hardly worth wasting my limited funds on making stuff like that, if it's not likely to get stolen.  :lol:

I'd leave some food spiked with something nasty in there. Anyone stealing it and eating it would have a nasty shock if it were say, spiked with a massive dose of pseudoephedrine and ketamine:D

And they would have only themselves to blame. If they didn't steal the nosh, then they wouldn't have got the nasty surprise.

Strangely enough, I don't have anything suitable for that floating around here, Lestat. Anyway, the landlord's around tomorrow, although I don't suppose he'll be able to do anything about it. Thanks to everybody for their understanding & sympathy!
