Live to the max or self preservation?
« on: October 26, 2010, 02:39:23 AM »
Would you live a long and healthy life in self preservation?
Or would you live life to the fullest and experience all the highs and lows that you could?
Would you regret a life spent quietly, lived out with the goal of ease and comfort; Or, wish to live every day as though it were your last??

I like having a quiet and safe life.

Somewhere in between. Not a thrill seeker, but the thought of checking everything on maximum health benefit is not my thing either.
I can do upside down chocolate moo things!

My life may be safe, but if shit happens then it happens. I don't try to avoid it, as it'll happen inevitably.

Safe.

I wanna live long as I'm a slow starter and haven't done much with my life yet.  wish I could have a "normal" life, love on my own, have wife.kids etc

anyway I want to live long but the thought of getting old scares the shit outta me for a couple reasons

Mostly live my life in peacde and quiet in my room eating chips and playing xbox... go out and hang out with gluey and a few others and ocasionaly go for an exessivly large hike, my life in a nutshell

                                                         Zippo, Shotgun Surgeon.
if theres bees in the trap im catching them, by the thorax and abdomen. and sanding there stingers down to a rough quill. then i dip em in ink and i scribble a bit, and if the wriggle than i tickle them until they hold still, let me say it again, in my land of pretend, i use bees as a mother fucking pen!

I'd live it to the max but not not all pure choas I don't wanna be chaos I wanna harness it and control it and make it mine. It a a struggle
lol. I don't like it when I hold myself back. I'm not into drugs or booze or the bar or house parties. That chaos is boring.
I enjoy thrilling things like dumping a box of raisin bran and squirting ketchup in my parents bed. OR! plasering the park with republican propaganda where the hippies smoke pot. unfortunantly they have smoked so much pot for so many years they don't even care or notice. but it's a whoot!

I like things that include excitement and psychically hard work. If I could have ten more years of my life traveling the world being an
artist/musican or 60 years of my life sitting aground with my thumbs up my ass playing World of Warcraft i'd say Id choose the first.
At least i'd somewhat be contributing to society.  :orly:

I like planned out but goals take a long ass time. Example. I have been saving up for my guitar and amp since last spring. You can have a shitload of drive but zero patence. You should see me in the grocery store line up.
You can do your hard work but waiting for the hard work is a big pain in the ass.

I am living my life to the fullest and I am having all the experiences I want to have. I think I would regret spending my life in , as what did that one guy Whitman say "quiet desperation".

I have type 1 diabetes and weak kidneys so I am going to do as much as I can. When I tuned thirty a few months ago I think I went wild a little bit and I am so happy I finally started living my life the way I wanted to.

I think that doing what you want, and tasking risk - this does not have to mean youre not carefull. You can go at any time, and I dont want to regret wasting any more time
