I remember one kid saying to her mother:

"If you don't get me that toy now, Ill tell everyone about you and daddy wrestling in bed!"

At football yesterday, some kids said to the others.  "there's some well hot girls in year 5".  Considering he's probably 8 or 9, it made me laugh.
"No one believes more firmly than Comrade Napoleon that all animals are equal. He would be only too happy to let you make your decisions for yourselves. But sometimes you might make the wrong decisions, comrades, and then where should we be?"

"When men lead by words that are false as they preach
Fatality waits in the wings
Surrounded by fools behind walls that are breached
Beware of the jester that sings"

Yesterday when I picked up my girl from sports, in the dressing room was the most capricious, moody, wailing, nasty peace of flesh on legs I have ever seen. Also there to pick up her kid.
There were 5 kids and her and me in the room.

When the woman left,  a cute 9 year old said in a very polite way "I'm so sorry to say this, but that woman is a bitch".
The contrast made me roar with laughter.

My brother still "invents" words of his own. For example, he called two men whom he supposed to be gay for "hose friends". He's 34.

Things parents and kids say

In a waiting room. A mother and a 6 or 7 yo girl. And the mother says something about a picture on the wall, she had had the same on her wall years ago.

So the girl asks: "who is it from?"
mother: "Ikea"

girl: "No, I meant, who made it, Van Gogh?"
mother: "Don't know, but not Van Gogh"
girl: "Why did Van Gogh cut his ear off?"
mother: "There was something wrong in his head"
girl: "When will Jasper cut off his ear?"
mother: "Why would Jasper do that?" :zombiefuck:
girl: "Jasper has something wrong in his head too."
mother: "Jasper has ADHD, that's something different"

Most parents, if they were being completely honest, would have the occasional moment where they might agree with you.

Most kids have the occasional moment where they have similar thoughts about their parents too.

That's alright, as long as it is mutual, and not too often.
