I don't why you guys feel the need to rip on Temple just because of her looks. I have read her book "Thinking in Pictures" and have watched her give a presentation. She seems like a very intelligent woman with a great sense of humuor. I think it's lame you guys rip on her just b/c of her looks. :finger:

Because she's a woman, and women are supposed to be pretty.

If it were a man who'd written that book, and designed those slaughterhouses, and they were making a movie about him... his looks, nor the looks of the person playing wouldn't have been mentioned.

They would have been closer to the mark if they used a guy to play Temple, at first I thought it was a guy and was confused as to why they would use a pretty girl to play and man with AS.?  And I thought, must just be a hollywood thing.   my bad.

I liked Josh Hartnett and Radha Mitchell in Mozart.... I thought they did a very good job of being AS without descending into parody or overacting which would be easy to do. And I think Claire Danes will do an excellent job as Temple Grandin, although not much chance for nude scenes--unless Temple gets naked before she gets in her "squeeze" machine... :lol:

My daughter's school has one of her squeeze machines.  The kids get into it fully clothed.

So, no Claire Danes nude scenes.  Sorry to disappoint you.
