No bricks? Our garage is made of wood, and it's constantly getting damp and rotting, and needs to be painted with preservative each year.
No bricks except the foundation not even in the chimney. It is sided with vinyl siding so no painting but that was because of expense I prefer wood and don't mind the upkeep.
Most houses around here are wood stick built construction when you see stone and bricks they are usually just veneer here.
