I'm switching to daytime.
« on: February 21, 2008, 02:17:34 AM »
Yesterday I went to work and my boss asks me a question by offering me a daytime housemen job because she had an opening for it. My pay will stay the same thank god. If it didn't, I wouldn't have taken it if it would put me back at where I started at when I started my job last year. The hours will now be from 7:45 to 4:15 PM and I get to see my bf in the evening but I be gone by the time he gets home from work since he works graveyard now at his new job. That means; no more staying up late, back to taking showers early again at eight, back to getting up early every morning and to catch the bus around seven AM so I be getting up earlier than I did in Montana by an hour.
The new shift starts next week but she will let me know. I assume I won't find out till Friday because that is when the next week's schedule goes up, so I can look at it and it will tell me when it starts.

Does that mean you will be able to go to the Asperger support meetings that you were missing out on before because of work?

The meeting starts at 3pm but I won't get off till an hour after so I am going to have too see. Call Roger Meyer and ask him how long the gathering runs till. I think it's usually till six but I'm going to have to make sure. I can just leave work and then head straight to the gathering. I won't know how long it will take me to get there though since it takes longer to get to places by bus than car.
