Actually I was taught that memories from objects you collect throughout your life are medicine for your esscence. Like one day you're in a bad mood. You pull out a buckeye you found on a week long deer hunt once, an it reminds you of the funny stories, delicious food, and badass buck you bagged. And you think "ahh good times. " And you fell better, see?
You'll never self-actualize the subconscious canopy of stardust with that attitude.
