I think the vast majority of scientists devoting themselves to the study of global warming and its effects disagrees with you, Cal. See, for example, http://www.ipcc.ch/.

The problem has to do with causality.
Earlier warming trends had high levels
of CO2, but as a RESULT of the warming.

Tornado occurred in Vancouver, WA on January 10th in the afternoon. They hadn't had one since 1972 and only six people died. No one died this time but it left damage to people's houses and it destroyed the boating house on Vancouver Lake. Anyone hear about this disaster?

Nope, but it's good to know.
Jimi Hendrix: When the power of love overcomes the love of power the world will know peace.

Ghandi: Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.

The end result of life's daily pain and suffering, trials and failures, tears and laughter, readings and listenings is an accumulation of wisdom in its purest form.

My mother told me on the phone there was a tornado in Montana on Flathead Lake last summer and it destroyed houses along the lake but luckily it happened north so my parents didn't lose their lake house since it's down south on the lake. I was surprised it happened.
