Elder Scrolls games?
« on: July 21, 2008, 11:49:44 PM »
Like Oblivion or Morrowind? I have finished almost all factions in Oblivion on PS3. Fighters guild, Mages guild, Thieves guild, Dark Brotherhood, the main quest, the arena. I'm currently doing The Knights Of The Nine Quest even though being a Holy Crusader isn't really my thing. It still has cool effects. I beat the the main quest in Shivering Isles and became Mad Goddess. Oblivon is much easier than the previous Morrowind. Oblivion seems noobishly easy compared to Morrowind.

I haven't played Morrowind since grade 10 so I download the ISO ! :police: ! (It took all night to download)
and put it in a virtual drive using a program called "Alcohol %120"
I got it off an iso site. I have been playing it for days.

Now I'm downloading the Oblivion iso (It's taking just as long as the Morrowind one)
I know I already have it for my PS3 but with the PC version I can get mods and stuff.

Theres gotta be some Aspies here that have played The Elder Scrolls Series.

Theres even a mod where you can make all the characters naked and have sex. The guys like it becuase they can stare at Orc tits

I've played Morrowind.  I never completed the main quest, since I encountered a bug where a slave I had to rescue couldn't get out of her cage and I lost interest at that point, and I also found that my characters quickly became so overpowered that I could rip through the toughest enemies with little effort, which took away any challenge in the game and made it a boring grind after a while.  I loved the landscapes and atmosphere though, and would wander around exploring random shipwrecks and tombs and things.

That's when I stopped playing.

That's the issue with Oblivion too easy. It's faaaaar more simple than Morrowind but Oblivion on the PS3 the graphics are spectacular because of the blue ray high def but I play these elder scrolls games for the purpose role-playing. Not really to defeat everything.
That's why I got the PC version to have fun with mods  :green:

I was actually referring to Morrowind. If you spend a lot of time attacking creatures and gathering recources, your character develops much earlier than forseen in the plot, allowing your character to gain full stats and get to the main boss area in the center of the island long before the plot expects you to get there. Then it gets pretty damn boring :)
