I sent the person a reply any way and from my yahoo account telling him I have not sent him anything nor to anyone else and I hardly use my hotmail account. Now to see what he says.

But if it's someone forging my email address, nothing I can do about it unfortunately.

That's why you never open links when it's spam nor open any files that were attached. I learned a long time ago to never reply to spam because it's a way to get more spam.

But did you think it was me sending out that crap?

How often do you get spam from my email?

I was quite fortunately I didn't recieve any just yet but I know that email was sending them and I was unfortunately I've managed to annoy a friend with it.
I obviously had to warn everyone about it before it went out of hand.

I got this the other day from an old contact from an email address that is inactive nd in fact deactivated. Amazing really. They were really pissed off. Oh well.
I2 today is not i2 of yesteryear. It is a knitting circle. Those that participate be they nice or asshats know their place and the price to be there. Odeon is the overlord

Think it is I2 of old? Even Odeon is not so delusional as to think otherwise. He may on occasionally pretend otherwise but his base is that knitting circle.

I've sent everyone on my contact list an email saying if they are getting spam from me, it's not me sending it. But it's a bitch to send it to every single person on my contact list so I haven't sent everyone one yet. I do check them all and hit send email but then it said not all my contacts have a address and bam I can't send anything because I don't know who doesn't have an email. I even put in my MSN about spam being sent from m email and it's not me doing it.

Nope never heard back from that fella yet but oh well. It was worth a shot.

But hey most people know it's not the person that is sending them spam. They know it's something else like a bot or something. I have gotten a lot of IM bots on YIM and MSN and I just delete them and put them on ignore. I don't even post my MSN address on forums anymore nor my YIM or my AIM name when someone posts a thread asking for people to put down their scree names. Now people have to PM me if they want my IM contact so I say that in my post instead. Lately I haven't been getting them.

I wonder if IM bots take people's real email addresses and use them by adding you to their contacts to send you spam? If that is true, poor people. I have had contacts on my list all of a sudden sending me spam or nudging me I would block them so I would stop getting them. I used to think it was actually them doing it until I learned their account may have been hacked when someone made a post on WP asking why does her friend keep sending her a link to a site and she got told it's her account that's been hacked and it isn't her friend doing it. It's a bot doing it.

No. Its a program on your computer, running scripts. It probably got on there because you clicked on of those mails, or you visited the wrong porn site. Happens all the time.

Just talk to a computer ace about some good malware removal software.

I use Microsoft Security Essentials and it has served me well. Of course, I practically never run into any form of malware on the Internet, because I also use WOT to help myself avoid malicious websites.

I got a warning via IM last year, of a friend who found out his email-address was being used for sending spam. He warned me that via the sent spam my computer could have been infected too. I appreciated him telling me that, via IM, and not via his email.

Kit - get a malware removal program. There are lots of them, you should be able to find one that can remove that shit.

Freaky story:

I was once talking to an online friend on MSN and then all of a sudden he signed out and he signed back in and he acted like we weren't even talking. He was all of a sudden two faced and he asked me if I was talking to someone and I said yeah and he totally freaked out and said how someone was in his account and asked what the person said. He claimed he just got on.

It was a very weird experience. A hacker perhaps. I remember asking him if there is anyone in his house and other computers and he said he was the only one home. So no one didn't get on the computer and it logged him on MSN and bam that person started talking to me. You can set it to auto login so that way when the computer turns on, it logs you on automatically.

I was talking to another friend today and he told me he was once talking to his cousin and he kept sending him this myspace link and when you click on it, it took you to a weird page. He asked him why he kept sending him that link and he said he wasn't doing it.

I've had some cunt once hijack a voice chat I was on with a friend. Freaked me out of course, but that was years back before I lrn2internet.
Existence actually has two broad meanings despite its apparent meaningless. The constant reconciliation of all its parts, and the conservation of any closed system as a whole.

Morality can be extrapolated from these meanings to make these two commandments of godless morality: 1). Be in harmony with one another and 2). Care for the environment.

It'll happen, and you'll have to keep running your anti-malware stuff.
