"Intestinal fortitude"?
I tried to look that up in the Bible but came up with nothing.

It may refer to the simple fact that there was no scientific or scriptural or Biblical record of Jesus ever having shat himself, let alone ever existed, and finally taken is last breath,, while more than a few watched, even after HE had had a Roman soldier's pike pierce his right lung, while he was hanging in the pouring rain, bleeding to death from the earlier injuries after being whipped nearly to death, screaming for his Father to call his TASK DONE as he had asked it to be done, over and over again and again on this day, according to three scriptures of his dying day.
Only three people "witnessed him rise," right? Did they ever even bother to write this down - NOPE it was almost a hundred years later when these stories "came to light." DO we not wonder why that was? The archaeological record is fairly clear about there being none of these scrolls left for the future. Why have they not already found the other remaining "scrolls" or some kind of proof? , which would support this myth.
Hell, they have identified thousand year old mummies from Central and South America, killed from iron age weapons, well before the Spanish arrived. How did they process Iron? History says that they did not, yet modern forensics says differently.
Inca and Maya natives seemed to have been not so much Stone Age as Iron Age half a millennium before the Spanish arrived.
Not much "scientific" explanation on that one either! But Hell, we all accept that Cortez destroyed what was left of middle America, right, but there is little archaeological evidence, other than thousands of people with murderous wounds to their heads having been killed with "modern weapons" (gun powder and shit- lead balls) of the day; NOT the local weapons of the day.. This tragedy happened a full thousand and a half plus years later, people ALL died, iron wepons on both sides. YET, there is still no record!!
Only what came back to the "modern world" via ship back to the mainland. No written record save for the priests journals and the ship's captain's log. (who actually died in battle, BTW.)
Do not get me wrong. I am a scientist, mostly. I can make a plant grow from an idea and the smallest of seeds.
My thinking is mostly about "How We Got Here" and why the fuck are we here in the first place.
I am not so religious to think that some ancient Jew died after being beaten to death, for me so that my father's sins can be cleansed from this earth and I can live forever in some kind of mythical place where no one ever has to know pain or suffering.

Why can science not find all the evidence necessary to prove the previous coming and impending return AND existence "Our Savior?"
