Yes, doesn't really say anything about relocation. Looked around and saw the decision to let nature take it's course.

Maybe if it doesn't leave on its own, a local zoo will take it in so it doesn't die.

Heard on the news that the poor penguin is now undergoing surgery because it ate stuff that wasn't good for him/her.

Thought the news also mentioned that if the surgery (due tomorrow) was a success they're seriously considering bringing the little fella back to the Antarctic. (approx. 3200 kms southwards)

Hope all goes well and they'll actually do that. (if so, 3 cheers for New Zealand, I say)
