Why doesn't my baby's snoring bother me?
« on: January 18, 2011, 10:59:21 PM »
Snoring is one of the fingernails on a chalkboard for me. I am unable to ignore it when I am trying to sleep and it keeps me up. But when my baby snores, it doesn't bother me and I like hearing it. Mmmm?

Perhaps because you and he shared a rhythm before he was born and there is that connection.
A good monarch is a treasure. A good politician is an oxymoron.

My brain is both uninhibited and uninhabited.

Maybe because you know it's breathing.

At least I know he is alive. If he isn't making a sound, I have to provoke him to see if he moves but if I see he is breathing, I let him be knowing he is still alive. I still worry about SIDS.

A snoring baby is like a purring kitten. Just good to hear.

Lots of babies make a kind of snoring sound. Some even have a squeaking sound when they breathe or drink. Most of the times it is all good.

No idea?
I2 today is not i2 of yesteryear. It is a knitting circle. Those that participate be they nice or asshats know their place and the price to be there. Odeon is the overlord

.Benevolent if you toe the line.

Think it is I2 of old? Even Odeon is not so delusional as to think otherwise. He may on occasionally pretend otherwise but his base is that knitting circle.

Censoring/banning/restricting/moderating myself, Calanadale & Scrapheap were all not his finest moments.

Mine make cute sounds, I think I know what you mean by the squeaking sounds. He also makes squirt sounds too when he swallows.

Maternal instinct probably.
Existence actually has two broad meanings despite its apparent meaningless. The constant reconciliation of all its parts, and the conservation of any closed system as a whole.

Morality can be extrapolated from these meanings to make these two commandments of godless morality: 1). Be in harmony with one another and 2). Care for the environment.
