I had an out of body experience once back in the day when I smoked.....or maybe it was extreme paranoia

I hallucinate and get completely zonked on even quite low doses of cannabis.  Haven't used any for years though.

I haven't touched that stuff for 34 years and the last time was only done as a twisted birthday present!~ ;)

Were you getting pot as a present or getting stoned for someone else's amusement?

The latter and someday I may tell the tale...if I feel like it!  It was voluntary on my part and I was wearing an Army uniform courtesy of Army ROTC!  Spring of 1974, so actually 32 years ago!  Shortly before I turned it in!

I've found antidepressants and sleep deprivation to be a more surreal combination than any recreational drugs I've taken. The breaks with reality give me a combination of amusement and dismay that I actually did that. The bizarre sleepwalking shit is starting to creep me out - I woke up the other morning balancing a table on one hand I had carried downstairs, with the other in the washing up bowl.  ???

My brain not knowing what to make of the shit my senses are trying to pick up and getting them mixed up while it tries to draw pictures, is nothing compared to your body responding to some mysterious, internal, unfinished, business.
I wish you courage, Dunc ... answers is probably too much to ask for...

what would have been even more amusing would be if you had the table balancing on your nose and the washing bowl balancing on your stiffie.
Misunderstood.

I watched this film a few weeks ago and liked it

I don't usually like romantic type films, and I wouldn't say it's one of my favourites, but I thought it was good

Another film you may like is called "Adam". The main character is a guy with Asperger's.

I didn't really like it. Both main actors were not very good and often broke out of their character. Was a bit too soppy for my tastes aswell.

Yeah it was pretty soppy.

I thought the girl was kinda hot though - maybe that affected my opinion :P She was in Phone Booth as well iirc. Which is a really good film

And I briefly met the director of the film at a film festival. He was marketing his latest film and didn't really want to talk about Mozart.
