They say that first impressions are everything. Well, I say that's a load of BULLSHIT! Long term integrity is what really matters. That's what I meant.

I don't care much about the integrity of the music if I don't enjoy listening to it.  :zoinks:

And tell us what kind of music you listen to, then. ::)

*carries CD collection over to the computer*  Queens of the Stone Age, the Rolling Stones, Aretha Franklin, ELO, Eric Clapton, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, the Doobie Brothers,
Paul Simon, AC/DC, Steely Dan, Elton John, George Michael, Kevin Rudolf, Fleetwood Mac, America, Smashing Pumpkins, Cypress Hill, ZZ Top, Robert Cray, Prince, Boz Scaggs,
Emerson, Lake & Palmer, the Bee Gees, Peter Gabriel, Neil Young, Carole King, Yes, Nine Inch Nails, Mazzy Star, Herb Alpert, 311, Kenny Loggins, Bob Welch, Linkin Park, Neil Diamond, Bread, Rancid, Three Dog Night, Steve Winwood, Joe Walsh, Genesis, Chicago, Moby, Alice in Chains, the Gap Band, the Allman Brothers Band, Rob Zombie, Jethro Tull, Gorillaz, Cat Stevens, Depeche Mode, Maroon 5, Cream, Veruca Salt, Jefferson Airplane, Korn, Blind Melon, the Breeders, plus numerous soundtracks and greatest-hits-of-whatever-decade collections!  :2thumbsup:

Most of my music I have pirated. The only thing I really have is the Black Sabbath Black Box set with the first eight Black Sabbath albums on CD.

pentagram, your entire point was "metal rulez" basically

wow. your SUCH a genious!

lemme tell you something: been there done that
i got bored to TEARS of metal about half a decade ago.

and since when are radiohead "mainstream"? i know they ARE played on the radio, but "mainstream"? come on, your only trying to sound more hardcore than you really are.
its like when these ultra-badass blackmetallers refer to "cradle of filth" as "mainstream"
its not
"yes it is!"
no, its not. 50-cent is mainstream.

and no, im not a cradle of filth fan, nor am i a radiohead fan. you dont know me, so dont try.

your just trying to be special and hardcore and unique, and your fail, fail, failing. so
step back
apologize
or end up looking like richard.

you dont want to look like richard do you?

you made it pretty clear wether its metal or not (it turned out to be metal tho)
that theres a popularity gauge connected to music, and everyone who listens to what others have also listened to beforehand, are all losers (and a dissapointment to all true aspies!)

its a polaristic opposite/identical of the attitude of _only_ listening to radio-hits.
"WAIT! is it in any way weird or obscure? i dont like weird and obscure music!"
"WAIT! is it in any way a popular song, heard by others? i dont like music that others have heard before me!"

plus, richard
is you!
you are richard!

If my first impression of a song is "boring crap," I'm not likely to listen to it several more times to see if it gets better.   :thumbdn:

Now that's some typical NT thinking there, cousin. :wanker:

Was the day you started to hate NTs when one of them ran you over?

Doom metal is fucking boring to me, if you don't like that then get run over again. Offers no variety and extremely pretentious, IMO.

While I normally don't care if the music I'm listening to is mainstream or not, most of the music I listen to is fairly odd and usually resides in the Electronic genre (ambient, IDM, experimental, Berlin School etc). The difference between me and you however is that I don't act like a complete wanker about it. There's better things to worry about in a person than what tastes they have in music/film/games etc. To do otherwise means you're an insecure brat that holds unfound superiority over everyone. That's especially true in your case, you give off the impression you're better than everyone while in reality you're just some smelly, fat, bent-toothed retard that is a car magnet. That is why you were kicked off AFF, because even those butthurt retards couldn't tolerate you.

I wanted to be kicked off of AFF, because I was sick and tired of those boring butthurt retards. And it's a good thing that I don't look like YOU, because if I did, I would put a shotgun shell through my head! :wanker:

Liar. You begged pikajedi to take you back.

Anything else you want to say apart from trying to get out of the argument?

You are uglier than me, bent tooth (which is saying something as I AM an ugly cunt). Possibly even fatter. You definitely have bigger man tits than me, to the level of bitch tits. :LMAO:

I won't pretend I like music with lyrics that I can't understand because they're screamed into the microphone trying to drown out the instruments.

I like classical (no violin or guitar solos please, too whiny), bagpipes, what is considered outside the I2 mainstream.

I wouldn't make fun (or at least I hope I wouldn't) of someone else's choice in music.  It's personal.  Everyone put on your headphones, kick back and enjoy your music and please quit the backbiting.
