until you don't pass out anymore?

What are you blabbering about now? Did you pass out already?

I still haven't made my mind completely yet.

Are you this dumb,
Are you this stupid
Are you taking pride in being very annoying

Or is it all three.

Probably the all three and some other co-morbidities coming with it.

What the hell do you mean with "weed being bad for autistic people"?

I know an autistic person who tried it, and it was "wonderful", he escaped into his own world while listening to music, but since he had depression, the weed worsened the depression.

I don't have depression, so I'm safe.

How about making Cannabis "fit" for autistic people or at least make a drug with similiar effects which WORKS on autistic people?

I was a bit offended there, I don't want autism to mean that your brain is so fucking different that the effects of a drug can worsen it.

You are an idiot. You have obviously done no research on this drug.
Cannabis is a mind altering drug. It affects neurotransmitters and even though some of our neurotransmitters are classed as cannabinoids, when you introduce and outside source of these neurotransmitters, the brain stops producing them as much. So when you stop ingesting cannabis, the body goes in to withdrawal and becomes unbalanced. It is like heroin. The use of heroin slows down the production of endorphins among other things, so when you stop taking it, your body goes in to shock and has no natural defence against pain. The withdrawal from heroin is significantly more difficult than marijuana but the context is the same.

It is fine when you are TAKING the cannabis, but when you stop, the following can happen (in relation to autistic features):

a significant decline with executive functioning.

significant decline in processing stimuli

decline in short term memory

decline in the ability to rationalise and perform decision making

more difficulty regulating and being able to use cognitive process in the control of meltdown/shutdown.

and of course:

Increase in anxiety

onset of depression (IF you are predisposed to it and you won't find that out until it is too late. Cannabis can not only make depressive illness MUCH worse, but also bring on drug induced psychosis and hallucinations)

increase in paranoia

increae in manic symptoms related to a mood disorder.

If you are going to try a drug, use your fucking brain, or you are the perfect candidate for not touching the stuff.

And if you think I am speaking out of my arse, I used to grow the shit among other things, so I know what I am talking about.

Ummh?  Maybe you should listen.  It seems these might already be present to some degree with you.  Just sayin'.

Exactly, Weakling. I stopped smoking about 2 years ago after smoking the shit on and off since the age of 16. I was also into much harder stuff and stopped that too, but cannabis was my weakness. When I became physically ill without any diagnosis, I was using it for pain and sleep. I had ALWAYS had a reason for using it, and could always justify my use. It got to the point where if I smoked non-stop for a week, I would suffer the most horrific come down for about a month after. That is when I gave it up. I won't lie though. I miss it terribly, but I will NEVER go back to it.

One of the first things that my neuropsych asks me when he sees me is, have you been smoking weed? And I am glad that I do not have to divert my eyes and own up. I can look at him and say "No, I haven't". It is one of the requirements for going on stimulants that I have regular urine tests because of my drug history.

Yep, once a crim ALWAYS crim. Probably why I get so worked up about this shit. It nearly killed me or sent me to jail.
