Need some browser help!

i have set google.com as my start page

but google does me the unwanted "favor" of automatically redirecting me to "google.no" which fucking sucks.
it further does me the "favor" of prioritizing norwegian searches. nobody told these assholes that norway is a tiny country, and that a purely norwegian google would be SEVERELY limited. image searches hardly work at all, and video searches are disabled.

every fucking time i have to manually change it to google-in-english

anyone knows how i can make it STAY at google.com? can i somehow block google.no? :S

Set it up with a proxy server in the US :P  I didn't know they redirected people like that automatically
