Depends on what I'm going to be doing, some things like new places and meeting people I need to know where I'm going, what time, etc. I like to have maps and know what places look like before I go. I quite often go on flash earth to see what the outside of a place looks like before I go, that also helps me know about parking and stuff.
I like to know what order things are going to happen, what I'm expected to do or not do, who I'm gonna have to speak to, etc.
some things I can totaly not plan and just let things play out but even then theres a certain amount of structure, like when I'm working with a horse, we have a target to aim for, how we get there or if we get there depends on how the horse reacts.
